3. Do you allow couples from other churches?

  1. IMPORTANT: If you are a couple who regularly attend another church, St Thomas’ has special conditions related to your wedding. Please tell Richard you are from another church when you first contact him. If you wish to know more about the special conditions, start by completing an enquiry form.

5. Do you marry divorced persons?

  1. We seek to be as compassionate and helpful as possible. So in simple terms if there is no “going back”, we aim to help you “go forward”. Your preparation for remarriage will need to be tailored to address the known factors divorcees face. Each couple will be given all possible help toward a fresh start.

  1. NO. There are no requirements to be Anglican or baptised to be married at St Thomas’.

7. How many does the church seat?

  1. St Thomas is ideal for all size groups from quite small to very large weddings. Being a large church it can seat up to 500 people. Its design however, allows groups as small as 30 to sit in the front middle seats allowing a very intimate and close service.

12. What if we live outside Sydney?

  1. It takes time to make weddings “great”. Those outside Sydney or overseas will have limited time for preparation. We welcome couples with some conditions. Complete an enquiry form and see if we can work something out.
